18th Ravenswood ArtWalk this weekend (2019)

Time flies when you’re having fun! Fresh off the Flora, Fauna and Fascination opening, I am now gathering what remains of my swarm, along with new babybees, to prepare for the Ravenswood ArtWalk.

This year the Ravenswood ArtWalk takes place from 11 am to 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday, September 14 & 15. I will return to the Hayes Properties Pop-Up Market, which is venue #2 on the handy-dandy tour map. The official address is 4043 North Ravenswood Avenue, just before the street fair entrance on Belle Plaine.

The beer tent has a very convenient location to us, so you can grab a brewski and then stroll into the shade to see our fabulous wares.

Hayes Properties is a full service management and investment company focusing on commercial and multi-family residential properties in Chicago. This historic industrial building was once the home of Manz printing company and has been beautifully restored by our partners at Hayes Properties.

Shop from a dozen local artists in the first floor atrium and keep an eye out as you enter for Frank Lloyd Wright’s Garden Sprite, a replica of one of the statues designed by Wright in 1913 for Chicago’s Midway Gardens.

The ArtWalk runs along Ravenswood Ave from Leland south to Irving Park, with open studios, artists in buildings, musical performances and live demonstrations. All businesses are open from 11-6PM. At the center of the festival is the outdoor RAW Street Fest, which features two stages of live music, artists in tents, Begyle Brewing’s craft beer garden, a food truck roundup and children’s activities.
