The first weekend of June is full of artsy events. I will be spending my afternoons at the Hermosa ArtShow. The Hermosa ArtShow is on Saturday, June 2 from 12 to 5 p.m. and Sunday, June 3 from 12 to 5 p.m. in the Auditorium at the Kelvyn Park Fieldhouse, 2nd floor at 4438 W Wrightwood Avenue in Chicago.
The first Hermosa ArtShow brings together artists who make one-of-a-kind works of art and performance artists to display their talent in this new event in the Hermosa community. Admission is free. Live performances are organized by En Las Tablas! including cultural Latin dances and music. Come support Visibility Arts, an arts program that promotes artists with disabilities.
