I am excited to resume holiday pop up fairs this year after quite a hiatus.
During the first weekend of November I’ll revisit the Wilder Mansion for the 13th Annual Wilder Mansion Holiday Market.
This year’s holiday market will be held Friday November 1 from 4-8pm and Saturday November 2 from 10am-4pm in the Wilder Mansion landmark building.
Presented by Kelly Stetler|COMPASS, more than 50 unique artisans and gourmet food artisans will be selling seasonal gifts at 211 Prospect in Elmhurst, IL 60126.
Admission is free on both days, and you’ll enjoy perusing the highly curated artisan creations in this gorgeous building.
The show is sponsored by the beautiful Elmhurst Park District and founded andpr oduced by RGL Marketing for the Arts, Inc.
I always enjoy being at this fair, as host Roz Long and event manager David are such wonderful people to work with.
Roz has organized numerous Elmhurst fairs and art pop ups over the years, and I hope she continues to do so.
I love all the elegance and imagining what it was like to live here.
I received corks from Bread and Butter Wine last time.
My cork pendant does get a lot of commentary during the sip and shop event.
My last visit was in 2019. I actually slipped on a tiny patch of black ice loading my car and arrived with a possible hairline fracture, but the show had to go on.
The rehab was grueling, but after a few months I could walk my stairs pain free again.
Now I never leave home without a hiking stick in winter, and am extra careful to look where I walk when loading my car.
I look forward to seeing you at this fair and am excited to ring in the holiday season with this festive event.

The mansion is a big draw for wedding pictures, too.
You’ll love the fall colors in the park and there are a few sights to see in Elmhurst.
It’s a great event and worth making a trip to this gorgeous suburb for.
