Jasper Tiered Bangle

Making bracelets is a very centering task to me. Working with the coil probably references back to symbolism, and weaving beads through the tiers is a meditative task to me. This bangle is made from steel wire with jasper beads in earth tones.

I hand-wrapped steel wire around a wine bottle and then fastened the bangle with a wire-wrapped coil from the same length. Then I took decorative wire and strung jasper into the steel wire tiers. This bracelet is 1 1/4 inch high and has a 3 inch internal diameter to fit a small to medium wrist. Its circumference is about 8 1/2 inches.
