The paper was dipped in orange encaustic paint and then adhered to the wire. The translucent effect of the beeswax makes for an eerie scene perfect for spooky celebrations.
This lightweight pendant measures 1 3/4 inch long by 1 1/4 inch wide and comes with a black satin necklace cord. Check out the full Halloween collection.
Encaustics should be cared for as you would for any fine art piece. Encaustic derives from the word “burn in” and is a process of applying molten wax colors to a surface for the creation of images or decoration that began more than 2 millennia ago with Roman Egyptian wax portraits.
