Zen Abstract Wax and Wire Pendant

This abstractly formed pendant includes the letters ZEN collaged on a waxed paper that is fused to the steel wire with encaustic medium. I wrangled steel wire into an abstract shape with a wavey form as the top layer. Then I took vintage paper, along with a cutout of the calligraphied word Zen and fused the paper with encaustic medium, a wax and resin mixture. The paper is adhered to the steel wire for a one-of-a-kind statement piece.

The wire pendant measures 3 3/8 inches long by 2 3/4 inches wide and comes with a black satin necklace cord.
